About Me

Beginning at the age of 14 as a freelancer at The Yorkshire Post Newspaper, I’ve since contributed to numerous outlets over the years – ranging from B2B to consumer titles, speciality brochures and books to websites, pod/vod cast, TV and radio. That’s given me a wide range of experiences including interviewing Hollywood stars, poking around on film sets, directing photo shoots, learning to do ‘the lift’ at the original Dirty Dancing hotel, cooking my way round the Caribbean, driving the Gumball Rally, being made into an action figure…

I've edited Total Film Magazine and am currently Editor-in-Chief of Hollywood Authentic Magazine.

When I’m not editing, commission or writing about film I'm scribbling away authoring my books – I have published a fiction novel, Gatsby (Borough Press) and a non-fiction coffee table tome, Silver Screens: Spectacular Cinemas From Hollywood To Hong Kong (Pavilion). My latest book, Behind The Screens: The History Of Film in 100 Iconic Locations (Pavilion) is out in Nov 26.
